Q: What aspects of MTG 2024 resonated with you the most?

“I think what I loved the most was the perspective I gained by sitting in a room full of all female tattooers who were all in the same boat one way or another and being able to connect with them. I really loved the lunch breaks and the time spent just chatting and connecting.”

Q: What aspects of MTG 2024 resonated with you the most?

“Meeting and actually befriending other like minded women. It occurs to me how difficult it is to make meaningful friendships as a woman in our industry. Bringing this group together was a breath of fresh air, as it became evident VERY quickly that we were all at Metanoia for similar reasons (and ego was not one of them). The connections this made on a personal level is something that I am deeply grateful for. I think this was accomplished by careful and compassionate creation of this event, the clarity of what it was about and the attention to detail/thoughtfulness in how everything was presented. MTG created a space that wasn't just a lecture hall full of people, but a comfortable place to make inroads. The time was offered to mingle & snack, the seating was close enough to spur conversation and connection. The hotel accommodations were thoughtful so we were mostly all going back and forth from the same place, and this added more time to connect. Don't get me wrong, the programming, seminars, speakers, and info was all amazing... but the community aspect was the MOST impactful. It would also be the most difficult thing to create... creating community is an ethereal thing. A speaker is something you can tangibly book, friendship isn't. MTG managed to create a space for friendship and community, which is by far the more difficult thing to accomplish.”

Q: What was your favorite part about attending Metanoia?

“The connections and community that was created. The effortlessness of BEING at MTG was exquisite. It just felt comfortable. Everything from the clarity of what to expect heading into the event, the discord so we could all connect, the welcoming vibes, and even the food. I loved the great wealth of information shared by all the speakers, the vulnerability and comfortability that everyone felt sharing their questions & struggles, and how everyone jumped to help and give non-judgemental feedback.”
